Tea Party!
The boys were gone to Boy Scouts on Tueday night. I decided to get out Delaney's Silver Tea set and we had a nice Tea (Lemonade) party. She was so excited. She has been asking to do another one every day since then.
Sping Time!!
Wow, the weather has been beautiful here! It has been in the 70s the last 4 days. That is the great thing about this state! The weather changes so quickly that you are going to be happy at least part of the time with the weather!
I took the kids to the park and they had a blast.
I also did Spring cleaning inside and out. The Patio is now free of leaves and twigs and ready for the kids to play outside.

I have taken almost all of Beth Moore's Bible studies. They are awesome! I found out recently that she is a blogger as well. Beth's Blog
Just Between Friends
It is time for the Spring Just Between Friend's Consignment Sale. I usually do this sale at least once if not twice a year.
I get rid of outgrown clothes and unwanted toys. The agreement is that if the kids get rid of toys they don't want then they get to go to Toys R Us and pick out a new one.
They love doing this and it reduces the clutter! Everybody wins.
This year I decided to use the VIP services. I have never done this before. With VIP, someone else does the tagging, pricing and delivery of your sales items. You only get 50% rather than 70% of your sales. I figure it was either that or it would remain as clutter up in the attic.

MySpace
Well, I finally fell to the fad of the internet. I opened an account on myspace. I am barely getting started on it, so it is still fairly bare.
By signing up for myspace, I was able to find a friend that I haven' seen in 20 years. We had lost touched over the years so it was nice to hear what he has been up to all these years. I found out that he was fortunate/ lucky enough to have moved out of New Orleans, one week prior to Katrina. What a blessing for him!

More TV....
Okay, since I am on Television.... I love the show House! I normally hate medical shows, I live it so why watch it. Generally the medical shows frustrate me.
House is different. I love trying to figure out the medical mystery. I am usually not even aware of the condition, it is usually so obscure. Dr. House's bedside manner is histerical! It almost makes him adorable. Almost, but not quite.
If you haven't watched it, check it out on Tuesdays on Fox.
AMAZING RACE - ALL STAR!
As much as I love Survivor, I love the Amazing Race even more. I am a reality show junkie!
The Amazing Race will be All- Stars this season and it starts Sunday. Some of my favorites are back. My all time favorite is Rob and Amber (Survivor meets Amazing Race). I didn't like Rob on the first Survivor he was on but liked him on Survivor All Star and the Amazing Race. The man is sly and crafty but very, very smart. Amber is just as smart.
I am also excited to see Coalminers David and Mary, and Ucnenna and Joyce(she sacrificed her hair for the game). I was really hoping to see the Cho Brothers back. They were so sweet!
I am NOT happy to see Villains: Dustin and Kandice. They are so obnoxious!. Charla and Mirna are annoying!!
Okay, if you are not fans then you don't know what the heck I am talking about. If you are fans, who are your favs??
Survivor
Another season of Survivor! I have watched all 16 episodes. I would still say that Australia was my favorite followed by last season. The whole racial division was facinating to me.
This year, Stacy is on the show. She is a Korean adoptee. I haven't seen her too much on the show yet, so I really haven't formed an opinion on her.
Of the 19 contestants, there are three of Korean descent. I really like Michelle so far.
Yau Man is a favorite of mine, he is from Borneo. He is such a cute old man, and very smart!

Remarkable girl!
Have you heard of this girl? She is so amazing.
It amazes me how God works through people to save lost souls. Her parents were atheist. It sounds like they have been touched.

Gymnastics
Delaney decided that ballet/tap wasn't for her. She really missed going to gymnastics.
We returned earlier this month. She really wants the first teacher she had when she first started. She misses her.
I told her the morning of gymnastics that Ms. Becky was going to college now and was no longer teaching. Her reply, "Well, she needs to stop that!"
Much to my embarrassment, Delaney announces loudly to the teachers, "I like the other teacher!". To make matters worse it was parent watch day. Hey, kids speak their minds!

Super Bowl Commercials
I am not a football fan plus I work on Sundays, so I don't watch the Super Bowl game.
I do enjoy watching the commercials online the next day. I think this is my favorite.
I also like the Taco Bell Lions. The Bud commercial with the gorillas reminds me of my kids, never listening!

House Work
Since I have been stuck in the house I have been doing some painting.
I have painted two different murals for Joshua. Before he came home, I painted the Pooh mural.
When we were preparing for Delaney's arrival, we painted an airplane mural in his new room. Delaney took over the "nursery" with the Pooh mural.
Delaney has been asking for a Care Bear to be painted on her wall. I finally got around to doing it this week. She loves it!
Joshua now wants the Titanic painted on his wall. The airplane was painted over some time ago when we bought the Egyptian decor. He may have to wait awhile on the ship.
Since I was stuck inside with the weather, I repainted my base boards and door frames. It looks much better, it was desperately needed.
Global Warming
It is snowing once again. They say it is not more than normal but sure feels like it. The kids already have three snow days to make up.
People are just now getting electricity on in parts of the state.
I would hate to see how it would be without global warming ;).

Quote of the week
Sometimes people say unkind or thoughtless things, and when they do, it is best to be a little hard of hearing- to tune out and not snap back in anger or impatience. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Jurist.
